Job Title: Journeyman Building Engineer

ABM Services, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is seeking a skilled Journeyman Building Engineer to support our team.

Job Summary:

The Journeyman Building Engineer will provide technical support for the daily operations of all building systems, including hard surface maintenance and repair, basic carpentry and metal work, and operating, maintaining, and repairing facility system equipment associated with HVAC operations and mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer requests and submit and close work orders as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Coordinate work with other operational groups to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and operational efficiency
  • Develop solutions and implementation plans for maintenance programs and technical specification revisions
  • Review Service Bulletins (SBs) from manufacturers and coordinate warranty recovery
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of engineering experience
  • Engineering skill sets applicable to a range of systems, maintenance programs, and engines
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to work in a variety of engineering departments based on current needs
