Job Description

As a senior-level consulting position, this role provides consistent high-quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. The Enterprise Cloud Architect is responsible for providing services, workloads, and use-cases for Oracle customers. Strong technology exposure is a must, blended with strong pre-sales/sales acumen.

Responsibilities
  • Analyzes business needs to ensure Oracle solution meets customer objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen.
  • Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations.
  • Provides direction and mentoring to project teams and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions.
  • Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions.
  • Collaborates with consulting sales teams by providing domain expertise.
  • Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions.
Requirements
  • Ability to navigate and successfully close complex cloud deals, especially those involving partners, ensuring customer needs are met while aligning with company goals.
  • Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud and Exadata offerings, including ability to develop compelling business value justification using cloud solutions around a known customer requirement.
  • Ability to collaborate with resources to lead customers from awareness through acceptance.
  • Leading/participation in discovery sessions and producing technical deliverables to move customers through the adoption lifecycle.
  • Collaborating with all internal and external partners to validate proposals and execution plans, including implementation and multi-cloud partners.
  • Ability to work through a complex stakeholder organization managing expectations and parallel objectives.
  • Providing executive-level guidance both internally and externally.
  • Ability to accelerate adoption by navigating through technical and organizational blockers associated with multi-cloud projects.
