Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement special education programs and services that align with district procedures and state and federal laws.
  • Case Management: Serve as a case manager for students with special needs, providing support and guidance to ensure their academic and personal success.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assess student needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to ensure that students receive the support they need to meet their academic goals.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices in special education and participate in ongoing professional development to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge needed to support students with diverse needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in special education from an institution of higher learning accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation; Master's degree preferred.
  • Certification: BCLAD Certification preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience: Mild/Moderate credential required.
  • Other: Valid Driver's License.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $71,000 - $100,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
