Occupational Therapist Position Details

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Inglewood, California area. This is a full-time opportunity for the upcoming academic year, working with a K-12 caseload in a supportive district.


Job Highlights:



  • Onsite location near Inglewood, California
  • Start as soon as possible
  • $50-$60+ per hour (based on experience)
  • Caseload and student information will be discussed further in the interview process

Job Responsibilities:

As an Occupational Therapist at ProCare Therapy, your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Conducting thorough evaluations to assess students' abilities and limitations in various functional areas
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
  • Providing evidence-based interventions to improve students' abilities to perform daily activities and participate in school-related tasks
  • Ongoing assessment and monitoring of students' progress toward goals
  • Collaborating with the school team, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated services
  • Providing education and training to school staff on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • A current state license in California
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
