Opportunity to Excel in Finance at Louisiana Tech University

Louisiana Tech University is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the Division of Finance/Office of the Comptroller as a Budget Analyst. The position performs a variety of duties for the Division of Finance, including budget planning, implementation, and monitoring, as well as daily budget responsibilities and providing assistance and training to campus departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Budget Office throughout the budget planning process, budget implementation, and monitoring throughout the year
  • Provide assistance and training to campus departments
  • Complete various financial reports, reconciliations, and analyses
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • High level of skill with Microsoft Excel
  • 1-3 years related experience
  • Ability to multitask and work independently to complete assigned responsibilities timely and accurately
  • Ability to provide excellent verbal and written communication
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience working with an ERP system or complex financial system
  • Experience working in a Higher Education setting
