Job Title: Electrical Systems Specialist

Hendricks Power is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the reliability of our electric and fiber networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead maintenance operations to ensure system reliability
  • Troubleshoot power quality concerns and schedule preventative maintenance
  • Maintain proper documentation for distribution equipment
  • Address member power quality issues and implement emerging technologies
  • Manage projects as directed by Operations and/or Engineering
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in electrical engineering technology or equivalent education and/or experience
  • 2+ years of experience in electric utility preferred
  • 2+ years of knowledge of distribution line construction and maintenance preferred
  • 2+ years of positive customer service experience
  • Strong exposure to various computer software
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Basic fiber optic knowledge
Personal and Position Qualifications:
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work closely with other departments
  • Physical ability to work in an office environment and outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
