About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Nurse Specialist to join our team at TotalMed. As an ER Nurse Professional, you will be responsible for providing specialized care in emergency settings, assessing and treating patients, and collaborating with the emergency room team to ensure efficient delivery of emergency care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide rapid assessment and treatment to patients with emergent medical conditions in a fast-paced emergency room setting.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to stabilize patients and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, response to treatment, and changes in condition, adjusting care plans as necessary to address emergent needs.
  • Advocate for patients' needs and coordinate care transitions, including admissions to inpatient units or referrals to specialty services.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-emergency care instructions, follow-up appointments, and community resources for ongoing support.
Requirements
  • Current RN license
  • BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
  • Two years of recent ER RN experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
