Social Work Associate

Responsibilities:
- Participate in treatment team conferences and complete treatment plans.
- Facilitate the therapeutic milieu on the treatment unit.
- Perform social work interventions as directed by the treatment team and treating psychiatrist.
- Obtain and assess social history information and report to the treatment team.
- Provide group and individual therapy, as well as discharge planning and case management.
- Act as liaison for hospitalized patients with community agencies and resources.
Requirements:
- Master of Social Work degree from a Council of Social Work Education-accredited program.
- Experience on an inpatient psychiatric unit is required.
- Employee must be in good standing to be considered for an internal transfer.
