Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Freeman Webb Company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leasing activities, including meeting and greeting the public, answering the telephone, and demonstrating the model/community.
  • Verifying applications for residency, executing marketing and related forms and/or reports, making call-backs to potential residents, and drawing up leases for signatures.
  • Receiving notices to vacate, preparing the weekly overview, and walking the grounds to ensure curb appeal standards are being met.
  • Training new employees in leasing and administrative duties, as requested by the Community Manager.
  • Preparing promotional items for new residents, delivering lease renewal letters, and inspecting supply inventories to ensure adequate marketing materials.
Administrative Duties
  • Posting rent, preparing bank deposits, writing work orders, and inspecting apartments recently vacated to determine the disposition of security deposits.
  • Preparing routine maintenance reports, ordering office supplies, and assisting the Community Manager with managerial reports as requested.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Making off-site marketing calls to gain exposure and encourage businesses to inform their employees of the property.
  • Preparing and analyzing market studies and grid comparisons, making recommendations, and shopping the competition when needed.
  • Handling business calls, including pre-planning and literature, pricing and policy recommendations, and special marketing projects as necessary.
Requirements
  • At least twelve months of computer experience and tenure with the company, with at least six months spent in the position of Leasing Consultant or Community Manager or higher.
  • Demonstrated leasing ability, strong leadership skills, and thorough knowledge of policies and procedures.
  • Ability to recognize problems and recommend solutions, with superior leasing abilities and proficiency in on-site computer hardware and software applications.
  • Physical abilities to effectively communicate with prospects/residents and tour apartments on multiple floors or access varied terrain.
  • A reliable means of transportation.
