Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives and drive business growth.
  • Source high-quality raw materials, capital equipment, and services from reputable suppliers, while maintaining strong relationships to ensure on-time deliveries and cost savings.
  • Work closely with suppliers to confirm orders, track shipments, and expedite materials as needed to meet production deadlines.
  • Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and support to ensure optimal procurement decisions.
  • Manage the procurement of office supplies, warehouse supplies, computer supplies, cleaning supplies, and other miscellaneous items to maintain a well-stocked and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable to reconcile invoices, receipts, and purchase orders to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Partner with Suppliers, Quality, and Engineering to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related manufacturing field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in supply chain management, with at least 1 year of experience in a regulated industry such as medical device, aerospace, pharmaceutical, or military procurement.
  • Proven track record in procurement and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to understand bills of materials and read product drawings and parts specifications.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and other Microsoft programs.
