Speech-Language Pathologist Position

We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill a Speech-Language Pathologist position at Soliant. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students develop effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student communication development.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to ensure that students' communication needs are addressed.
  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and provide education and training to colleagues and other stakeholders as needed.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure and certification requirements as specified by the state and/or professional organization.
  • Previous experience in speech-language pathology, preferably in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques, including evidence-based practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field.
