Join Jump Pet Sitting, a leader in the pet care industry since 2000, and become a part of our amazing team. We are seeking a substitute dog walker to join our team of 30 employees who are passionate about making extra spending cash while loving on pets.

As a substitute dog walker, you will be responsible for covering vacation days for our other employees between the hours of 10am and 3pm, Monday through Friday. You will know your schedule at least a week in advance and will be working between 2 to 6 days per month. Your tasks will include walking, feeding, watering, and keeping dogs safe and secure. We require communication via smartphone with a data plan.

Some of our current team members include moms, servers, artists, Uber and Lyft drivers, bus drivers, retail workers, dog trainers, and retirees. Here are the basic job requirements:
  • US citizens or legally authorized to work in the US
  • Over 21 years of age
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Local resident of our service area
  • Comfortable handling both large and small dogs
  • Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs without assistance
  • Able to commit to this position for 12 months from date of hire
  • Available for weekdays from 10am to 3pm
  • Possess your own reliable transportation


Our substitute dog walkers make $16-$20 per hour while filling their dog, cat, puppy, and kitten-cuddling needs each week. We offer management support and thorough training to make sure you feel confident in your ability to care for the pets on your route.
