Compensation: $20 – 22/hr. on W2 (15% Differential for night shift)
Employment Type: Contract Role
Work Schedule: Swing Shift
Day Shifts: Sunday-Tuesday every other Wednesday 5am-5:30 pm
Night Shifts: Wednesday-Friday every other Saturday 5pm-5:30am
Role Summary:
The Production Assembler will be responsible for utilizing computer-based work instructions to accurately install components and hardware using hand tools and fixtures when necessary, specifically on wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) within a Lean manufacturing clean-room setting.
This role may also involve serving as a primary trainer for fellow assemblers on designated job functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize hand tools, torque wrenches, and fixtures to assemble WFE components.
- Interpret and navigate work instructions and schematics effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and adhere to production schedules.
- Adapt to changing priorities, including rework tasks and pilot build projects.
- Conduct visual inspections of components prior to installation.
- Conclude assigned tasks by verifying completion, ensuring Cell Fusion processes are finalized, and documenting work performed.
- Install components and hardware in accordance with Cell Fusion guidelines, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Execute all assembly operations, with the exception of final assembly tasks.
- Document Non-Conformance Issues (NCI) and escalate concerns to engineering as needed.
- Independently perform rework using the appropriate tools and equipment.
- Conduct leak checks with assistance when required.
