This part-time position is responsible for the instruction of nursing students in the clinical setting. The selected candidate will maintain currency within their field, including required licensure. Key Responsibilities:- Supervise nursing students in the laboratory and clinical setting.
- Evaluate student learning and performance.
- Grade clinical assignments and maintain student attendance records.
- Document student performance of nursing skills and interventions.
- Collaborate with other faculty and administration as requested.
- Maintain clinical competence and knowledge in area of expertise.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Holds a minimum of an associate degree in Registered Nursing (RN).
- Full-time work experience as a Registered Nurse for a minimum of one (1) year.
- Experience as a Registered Nurse for a minimum of three (3) years.
- Experience in teaching and/or clinical instruction, in a variety of areas.
- Knowledgeable of the rules and regulations of the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.

Some lifting will be expected and he/she must be able to perform expected duties of a nursing instructor in various clinical settings.

Critical thinking, complex problem solving, and judgement are required to instruct students in a practical clinical health care setting and to provide a safe learning environment for students.
Work Environment:The employee will work within a very close physical proximity to others and will interact with others both virtually and face-to-face. Work area includes a moderate level of noise from various sources. The employee will work within environments that cause exposure to infectious agents and contagious diseases.
