Urology Instructor

Join the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso as an Instructor Urology, contributing to the university's mission through teaching and service.

• Provide hospital-based urologic care and consultation in an academic medical center with level 1 trauma center designation.
• Offer urologic care in an academic outpatient clinic.
• Participate in teaching activities, including conferences and lectures, bedside teaching, and rounds for medical students and/or residents, and continuing medical education.
• Advance clinical knowledge through scholarly and research efforts.
• Perform a wide variety of urologic surgical procedures.
• Provide on-call coverage, as scheduled.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations.
• Adhere to institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Statement of Faculty Professional Responsibility.

• M.D./D.O.
• Successful completion of ACGME-accredited residency training in urology.
• Texas Medical License or eligible for licensure in the State of Texas.

• Board certification in urology by the American Board of Urology.
• Board certification in pediatric urology by the American Board of Urology.
• Strong work ethic and good team player.
• Experience in teaching medical students and residents.
• Experience in conducting research and publishing scientific reports.
• Regional or emerging national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher.
