Pediatric Endocrinologist

Connecticut Children's is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our team. As a Pediatric Endocrinologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young adults with endocrine disorders, including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, growth and pubertal disorders, and disorders of sexual development.

• Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage children with metabolic or growth disorders.
• Provide comprehensive care to children with Type 1 diabetes, growth disorders, hypoglycemia, and other endocrine-related disorders.
• Evaluate and manage each patient thoroughly, documenting information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Identify relevant medical issues and use appropriate procedures and testing to ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients and families on medication, diagnosis, and health issues.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Meet with patients and families to discuss treatment plans and provide ongoing care.

• Graduate from an accredited medical school.
• MD or DO degree.
• 2 or more years of experience in pediatric endocrinology.
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Connecticut.
• Board certification in pediatric endocrinology.
