Emory Specialty Associates (ESA) is seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a vital part of our integrated academic healthcare system, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Highlights:
  • Full-time position with 10 or 12-hour shifts, with opportunities for extra shifts
  • No calls, no weekends
  • Competitive salary range: $168,300 - $205,000 per year (based on experience)
  • Benefits-eligible part-time position (20-31 hours per week)
  • Eligible for extra duty pay, CME time-off & allowances, Student Loan Repayment program
  • 37 days of PTO (for full-time 1.0FTE), benefits coverage, including PTO accrual, begins from first day of employment

As an Emory Healthcare Anesthetist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including Emory Johns Creek Hospital, Emory Ortho & Spine Hospital, and 14 outpatient surgical centers in the greater Atlanta Metro area. Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the administration of general and regional anesthesia to surgical and non-surgical procedure patients
  • Perform initial acute cardio-pulmonary resuscitation in life-threatening situations or as directed by a physician
  • Interpret and record patient's physiological and pharmacological status
  • Assist the Anesthesiologist in gathering routine pre-op data
  • Instruct others in principles and practices of anesthesia, respiratory care, and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation as directed by the Anesthesiologist
  • Assist in research projects as carried out by an Anesthesiologist
  • Establish multi-parameter monitoring of patient prior to, during, and after anesthesia or in other acute care situations
