Job Title: Consulting Utility Forester/Arborist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consulting Utility Forester/Arborist to join our team at Atlas Field Services. As a key member of our vegetation management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of our utility power lines and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of overhead power lines to identify potential vegetation hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective vegetation management plans that meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to our clients on best practices for vegetation management and arboriculture.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, customers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in vegetation management and arboriculture, and apply this knowledge to improve our services and processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Forestry, Horticulture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • ISA Certified Arborist designation and Texas Pesticide Applicators License.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in utility forestry or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
