Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions using telemetry equipment
- Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status, initiating interventions as needed
- Perform regular patient assessments, documenting changes in condition, symptoms, and responses to treatments
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements
- Current RN state license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a telemetry or cardiac care setting
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
- Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring
