Job Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to join our Test Systems Engineering group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical control and data systems in support of our development and production test programs.

About the Role

You will interface with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement test facility electrical control and data systems. You will also collaborate with customers to further understand and define their requirements, propose and implement cost-effective solutions, and identify improvements to Engineering Standard Work during execution of assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement test facility electrical control and data systems
  • Collaborate with customers to define requirements and implement solutions
  • Propose and implement cost-effective solutions
  • Identify improvements to Engineering Standard Work
  • Frequent interfacing with Engine Project Groups, Purchasing, and outside vendors
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Controls, or Power transmission or Power distribution Engineering
  • 5 years of electrical or engineering experience or an Advanced Degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering with 3 years of electrical or engineering experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S Citizenship is required, as only U.S Citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer License (PE)
  • Knowledge and awareness of electrical relay logic design, motor control center design, and power and control wiring distribution
  • Knowledge of pressures, temperatures, fluid process control and its relationship to the mechanical environment
  • Experience using AutoCAD to design electrical elementary wiring diagrams
