Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our Neurology Clinic team at Novant Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring a seamless experience for each individual. Key responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care plans, ordering and interpreting clinical tests, and reporting results to physicians.

In addition to these core duties, this role involves working collaboratively with other team members to foster a positive and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, able to effectively convey information to patients and colleagues alike.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to assess patient needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Order and interpret clinical tests, reporting results to physicians as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, providing clear and concise information.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Certified Medical Assistant certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a medical/physician office setting, preferably in a neurology clinic.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to adapt to changing priorities.
