Express Service Technician

The Express Service Technician role involves performing essential maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to company and manufacturer standards. This position plays a crucial role in fostering customer loyalty by establishing trust and ensuring confidence in Mac Haik Auto Group as a reliable partner for vehicle safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and execute vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid flushes.
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of customer vehicles (e.g., battery, lights, tires) and refer necessary repairs to the Service Advisor.
  • Operate and maintain lubrication equipment, ensuring all services are performed accurately.
  • Receive and process repair orders from Service Sales personnel or Production Supervisors.
  • Lubricate vehicles thoroughly while identifying additional repair needs.
  • Ensure all equipment, particularly lifts, are functioning correctly.
  • Utilize materials and supplies efficiently without excess waste.
  • Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles and limit their use to business purposes only.
  • Keep the service area organized and clean; account for all dealership-owned tools consistently.
  • Stay updated on the latest diagnostic techniques and service methods across various brands; review current bulletins and service manuals.
  • Engage in ongoing training activities, including factory-sponsored courses.
  • Regularly communicate with service advisors to confirm repair order details and diagnostic findings.
  • Achieve high customer service standards by meeting or exceeding 'above district' customer satisfaction scores.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols; report any equipment malfunctions and safety incidents immediately.
  • Comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations affecting service operations, including hazardous waste disposal and safety standards.
  • Protect dealership assets and customer information diligently.
  • Complete all required training through the company training portal.
  • Maintain a consistent and reliable work schedule.
  • Exhibit ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Auto Group brand.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment assessments.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
