We are currently seeking a dedicated Service Technician. The ideal candidate should possess relevant experience in equipment maintenance, field service operations, and a proven track record of adhering to quality control standards and meeting deadlines. While prior experience in the scale service sector is advantageous, it is not mandatory. This role will primarily be conducted in-house at our Allendale facility, with occasional travel to client sites using company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calibrating, diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing weighing systems
  • Managing and organizing necessary documentation
  • Occasional travel to client facilities for on-site service using company vehicles

  • Delivering outstanding customer service
  • Assisting in managing ISO 17025:2017 procedures and quality standards
  • Keeping a clean and organized workspace
  • Adhering to customer and company safety protocols
  • Completing scheduled tasks within designated timelines
  • Inspecting, maintaining, and organizing company assets
  • Performing other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in equipment maintenance or technical services
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50lbs frequently and up to 100lbs occasionally
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Field service experience is preferred but not essential
  • Experience in the scale service industry is preferred but not essential

  • Starting wage of $25.00/hr with potential for higher compensation for experienced candidates
