Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to assist our geotechnical engineering team in providing design services for a wide variety of projects. As a Geotechnical Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real client projects, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills in geotechnical engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of geotechnical reports, designs, and analysis for structures such as dams, bridges, and buildings.
  • Support field reconnaissance and observation of exploration borings on challenging terrains.
  • Contribute to the design and analysis of foundations for dams, bridges, buildings, and other infrastructure.
  • Provide support for construction observation activities during project execution.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in an ABET-accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related area, with a preferred focus on Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated interest in geotechnical engineering through prior internships or applied academic coursework.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working in challenging environments including remote terrains.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with geotechnical software such as Slope, STABL, and gINT.
