Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and direct the nursing process to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with the Registered Nurse to develop and implement patient plans of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
- Supervise and evaluate the care provided by non-licensed team members.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and evaluations of patient response.
- Identify potential emergency situations and initiate appropriate responses.
- Provide teaching materials to patients and families under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Participate in the development and modification of patient plans of care based on patient response.
- Provide a safe environment by adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- LPN Indiana license.
- BLS certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
