Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, you will implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process. Your patient advocacy skills will ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and associates. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and document patient data, including subjective and objective information.
  • Collaborate with the RN to implement the patient plan of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Supervise and evaluate care given by non-licensed team members.
  • Participate in the development and modification of the plan of care based on patient response.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • LPN Indiana license and BLS certification.
  • No experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow.
