Job Summary

This EMT Pointed Position is a critical role within the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority team. As an EMT, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing patient care, and working collaboratively with paramedics to ensure the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide quality patient care, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Assess and treat medical situations, utilizing thorough knowledge of emergency medical techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized ambulance, ensuring it is response-ready at all times.
  • Collaborate with paramedics to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a positive and professional working relationship with colleagues and the community.
  • Meet minimum qualification requirements, including high school diploma, current EMT certification, valid driver's license, and current CPR certification.
Requirements
  • Work a minimum of 48 hours per pay period.
  • Work a minimum of one full shift per week.
  • Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
  • Work a minimum of two spring and three fall holidays.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, climb, balance, step, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or carry up to 125 pounds and occasionally lift and/or carry up to 200 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
