About the Role

The Sales Associate is a key member of our Pacsun team, responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales through product knowledge and passion. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our brand, working closely with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Centric: Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience with all customers, focusing on full-price selling while maintaining awareness of product value and promotions.
  • Result Driven: Actively participate in company and store contests and events, stay current on all financial goals and priorities, and support the leadership team in achieving all sales and operational goals.
  • Authenticity: Reflect the Pacsun brand by demonstrating passion and affinity for product, brands, fashion, and trends, and contribute to a positive working environment by consistently exhibiting core value behaviors.
Requirements
  • Passion for Product: Demonstrate a genuine interest in product, brands, fashion, and trends, and be able to communicate this enthusiasm to customers.
  • Effective Communication: Possess excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and leadership.
  • Strong Time Management: Demonstrate excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Math and Computer Skills: Possess proficient math skills and be proficient in computer skills, including point-of-sale systems and other software applications.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds, occasional lifting and/or moving up to 35 pounds, and the ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stockroom, and office areas. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting is also required.
