About the Role

The Production Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the flow of products through the production cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the delivery of parts to expedite the flow of materials and meet production schedules.
  • Support purchasing by expediting supplier purchase orders as needed.
  • Utilize our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to manage production schedules and inventory.
  • Coordinate between the warehouse and purchasing teams to resolve material shortages.
  • Notify the Production Manager of any schedule impacts to customers.
  • Coordinate and expedite manufacturing builds to ensure schedules are achieved.
  • Prepare and submit status reports, including production progress, customer information, and materials inventory.
  • Exercise judgment and discretion to determine the most appropriate course of action.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and cost management techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Proficient use of computer systems and software applications, including ERP or MRP systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of production planning and scheduling principles.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related industry, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related industry.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
