Program: Addiction Recovery Services Status: Full time

Role: Recovery Support Technician

Reporting To: Recovery Support Supervisor/Peer Support Supervisor

Location: Manchester, KY

Position Summary:

The Recovery Support Technician plays a crucial role in overseeing the operational functions of the residential program and facility. The primary focus of this position is to ensure the safety and security of both the programs and the clients.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess at least a high school diploma or GED, with two years of post-secondary education preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in a treatment facility or equivalent specialized knowledge is also preferred. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential. Candidates must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain operational oversight of the facility in the absence of senior staff.
  2. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and house rules by clients.
  3. Document events occurring during shifts in a chronological manner.
  4. Manage client sign-in/sign-out logs effectively.
  5. Conduct regular tours of the facility and its surroundings.
  6. Monitor client numbers and behavior on an hourly basis.
  7. Complete necessary documentation accurately.
  8. Participate in training and clinical supervision sessions.
  9. Provide transportation as needed.
  10. Assist with childcare responsibilities.
  11. Identify and report maintenance needs and safety hazards.
  12. Engage in Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) tasks as assigned.
