Job Title: General Dentist Part Time

Man Dental West Covina is seeking a skilled General Dentist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a General Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced General Dentist to work with us on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the current health and condition of patients' teeth to determine the best possible treatment plan.
  • Complete treatment on affected, decayed, and fractured teeth, and perform tooth extraction for cases where there are high levels of decay.
  • Consider treatment plans and explain options with patients to determine which works best for them based on the situation.
  • Monitor and evaluate any x-ray images for any part of the patient's oral cavity.
  • Follow standard dentistry procedures and comply with company standard operating procedures.
  • Refer patients to orthodontists or other dental specialists for more advanced procedures and care.
  • Work with clinical staff to provide quality treatments.
  • Coordinate with office staff in managing patient appointments and scheduling to achieve productivity goals.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited dental college or university.
  • Must be currently licensed to practice dentistry in the State of California or be able to obtain licensure in the expected timeframe.
  • Must be a practicing Dentist in the State of California or related dental experience within the United States.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, staff, and other dentists on a daily basis.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Keen eye to details.
  • Must have basic computer skills (MS Office Suite, knowledge of Dentrix will be helpful but not required).
  • Good listener.
Working Conditions

The work is primarily in a climate-controlled office setting with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sitting, sedentary, walking, occasional lifting from floor, bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
