Job Opportunity

Community Rehabilitation Hospital South is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a vital member of our rehabilitation program, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Our Rehabilitation Program

  • We offer customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of our patients.
  • Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey.
  • We are accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for our Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and our Stroke Specialty Program.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' needs and identify appropriate occupational therapy interventions.
  • Work cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional occupational therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • Observe and evaluate treatment effect, accomplishment of short- and long-term goals, and recommend changes to the physician as needed.
  • Perform accurate and timely QI scoring and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital is located.
  • Inpatient rehab experience preferred, but not required.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
