Responsibilities:

* Coordinate and supervise the work of employees in the maintenance department
* Maintain and repair all production facility equipment in a manner that minimizes downtime
* Ensure proper maintenance is performed on electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other related systems
* Supervise installation, inspections, repairs, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other related production systems
* Update inventory and ensure all needed materials are available
* Direct and manage Superintendents, encourage training to increase competency and commitment
* Ensure adequate staffing is maintained
* Report on maintenance/repairs installation, inspections, repairs
* Communicate and enforce knowledge of occupational hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant Maintenance field desired
* Technical degree/training and/or relevant certifications in Electrical (Master's) and/or Refrigeration (RETA level 4) and/or CIRO (Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator) or relevant experience
* 5 plus years demonstrated utility management experience in a manufacturing environment
* Must include successful track record managing a shift or operations with progression in size and scope
* Experience will be considered in lieu of degree
* Previous poultry experience preferred
* Previous manufacturing management experience required if no poultry
