Job Opportunity

S&S Worldwide, Inc. is seeking a part-time Accounting Specialist to provide support to the Accounting Department.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. This position will also involve running accounting software programs to process business transactions, such as accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the Accounting Department
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial documents and records
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  • Enter key financial data into the database
  • Assist company personnel with financial inquiries
  • Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
  • Compile reports and summaries for management
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school degree required; Associate degree or relevant certification preferred
  • Proven accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable or accounts payable
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
