About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook/Baker to join our team at North Italia. As a Pastry Cook/Baker, you will be responsible for preparing our delicious Italian breads, pastries, puddings, and other desserts from scratch, following our recipes to produce consistent results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and portion all products, following recipes and ensuring plate presentation looks great.
- Complete your prep list, efficiently run your station during the shift, follow all specs, and stock food as needed.
- Keep your work station clean and organized, following all food handling standards and sanitization protocols.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in a similar capacity, with a passion for cooking and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good English communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
