Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based setting in Costa Mesa, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs, utilizing expertise in speech and language development.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans, presenting them to parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders involved in student evaluations.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns, fostering a comprehensive approach to student support.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular progress reports to parents, keeping them informed of their child's development and progress.
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Develop and maintain resource materials for use in speech and language development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in the field.
Requirements
  • California SLP license, issued by the California Board of Speech and Hearing, demonstrating expertise and qualifications in the field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of California Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings, ensuring compliance and effectiveness in the role.
