Conductor Trainee

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Conductor Trainee. As a key member of our Transportation Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of freight across our vast network.
Key Responsibilities- Manage train operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct daily inspections of trains and equipment, identifying and reporting any issues or concerns.
- Operate track switches and derails to change train routing, and check switch points for proper alignment.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, using verbal and non-verbal signals to convey important information.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment, adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work in the US without company sponsorship.
- At least 18 years of age or will be by the start date.
- Ability to report for duty at the designated work location.
- Able to work safely in diverse and extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to learn to identify, interpret, and use hand signals from near and far.
