Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and assess health care for residents and staff in long-term care settings.
- Conduct daily travel to various facilities.
- Collaborate with physicians, manage prescriptions, and perform bedside procedures related to wound care.
- Partner with the medical director in the treatment and care of residents and staff.
- Implement and manage topical wound care and related products.
- Educate patients and Primary Care Physicians on contemporary wound management practices.
- Maintain proof of Covid vaccination and current Board of Nursing approval for medical acts.
- Hold a Master's degree in Nursing.
- Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds to assist residents and performing essential functions requiring lifting of 10 pounds.
- Engage in pushing/pulling of 70+ pounds during patient care.
- Perform bending, squatting, kneeling, and twisting as necessary for patient care.
- Exhibit depth perception for medical procedures.
- Be prepared for exposure to various environmental conditions and health risks.
- Travel to multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities within the local area.
