Responsibilities
  • Manage the parts sales process from initiation to completion
  • Engage with staff and customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Effectively communicate regarding the status of customer parts
  • Interpret the parts catalog for accurate parts identification
  • Handle phone inquiries, providing pricing and relevant information to customers
  • Review body shop estimates to ensure accuracy in parts orders and pricing
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers
  • Retrieve and fulfill orders from inventory while conducting regular stock checks
  • Alert the parts manager about any out-of-stock items or urgent shop materials
  • Source out-of-stock parts from external suppliers and process emergency orders as needed
  • Ensure all internal parts requests are billed correctly on service repair orders
  • Process payments from retail customers or obtain necessary credit approvals
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with prior experience in auto parts sales preferred
  • Willingness to grow in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective time management abilities
  • Capability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documentation
  • Proficiency in performing calculations including discounts, interest, commissions, and measurements
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
