We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to provide administrative support to our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical office setting and be proficient in calendar scheduling, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the medical team, including calendar scheduling, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Compile relevant meeting agenda topics and meeting minutes.
- Handle confidential or sensitive information, including drafting and finalizing letters, email messages, and other communications.
- Plan and coordinate meetings and events, including all details associated with the event.
- Submit check requests, purchase orders, travel documents, and other administrative tasks.
- Provide solutions and referrals for questions and problems, and serve as a liaison to and assist faculty.
- Assist with tenure review process, faculty reviews, and faculty records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- CCMA or RMA license preferred.
- BLS certification required, current and active through the Red Cross or Heart Association.
- At least 3 years of experience in an administrative role within healthcare, preferably in scheduling, phone, and charting.
