Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automation Equipment Supervisor to join our team at Traditional Medicinals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of automation equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes, and providing leadership and technical support to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and supervise the operation of automation equipment to maintain consistent production levels and ensure product quality.
  • Implement and manage automation equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to prevent and address equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to team members, ensuring they operate automation equipment safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the consumer packaged goods industry.
  • 3 years of automation experience or relevant background.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in automation, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of automation equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards related to automation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
