Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for assembling and installing plumbing systems, troubleshooting and repairing pipe and pipeline systems, and reviewing blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
  • Troubleshoot and repair pipe and pipeline systems, identifying and resolving issues efficiently
  • Review blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Maintain and repair commercial sewer systems, ensuring they are functioning properly
  • Prepare written work cost estimates for clients, providing accurate and detailed information
  • Perform preventative maintenance, identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others
  • Maintain accurate records on material and labor used, providing valuable insights for future projects

Requirements

  • Previous experience in plumbing, maintenance, or a related field
  • State Unlimited Journeyman License is preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics, understanding complex systems and designs
  • Ability to handle physical workload, lifting minimum of 15 pounds continuously
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, identifying and resolving complex issues
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices, ensuring compliance and adherence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, providing clear and concise information to clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work in confined spaces with or without a ladder, navigating complex environments
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test, ensuring a safe and trustworthy work environment
