Diagnostic Technician II-RFFIT

About This Role:
The Kansas State University Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology seeks a skilled Diagnostic Technician II to join their team. As a key member of the Diagnostic Medicine team, you will be responsible for performing rabies serum neutralization antibody analyses on human and animal sera and rabies antigen detection on animal tissue samples.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing laboratory tests and analyzing results
- Interpreting and reporting test results
- Maintaining quality control and quality assurance
- Assisting with cell culture and maintaining cell lines
- Communicating with clients and performing quality documentation
Requirements:
- Associate degree and two years of relevant experience
- Competent computer skills, including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and data entry
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Must have at least 24 credit hours of any combination of Biology and Chemistry to meet CLIA requirements
