Position OverviewThe Central Sterilization Technician II plays a vital role in supporting the overall healthcare team by ensuring that surgical instruments and equipment are meticulously cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for use. This position requires a collaborative spirit and the ability to work under direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Perform cleaning, sterilization, and packaging of medical instruments.
- Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Transport medical supplies and equipment as needed.
- Work closely with healthcare providers and materials management staff.
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Completion of a Central Service Technician training program or equivalent healthcare training.
- Certification in Central Service or a commitment to obtain certification within one year of employment.
- At least one year of relevant experience is preferred.
