Position Overview

The Central Sterilization Technician II plays a vital role in supporting the overall healthcare team by ensuring that surgical instruments and equipment are meticulously cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for use. This position requires a collaborative spirit and the ability to work under direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning, sterilization, and packaging of medical instruments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Transport medical supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Work closely with healthcare providers and materials management staff.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Completion of a Central Service Technician training program or equivalent healthcare training.
  • Certification in Central Service or a commitment to obtain certification within one year of employment.
  • At least one year of relevant experience is preferred.
