We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to infants and children with feeding and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify patients' needs and develop individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to implement and modify treatment plans as needed
- Provide skilled intervention and therapy services to patients with feeding and swallowing disorders
- Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in pediatric speech therapy
- Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensure in the state of Minnesota
- Active Basic Life Support certification
- Experience working with pediatric patients, particularly those with feeding and swallowing disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Experience with pediatric videofluoroscopic swallow studies and infant feeding skills
- Training and experience in feeding therapy
