MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Ball Memorial Hospital. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures in a timely and efficient manner, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric.

• Follow physician's instructions to prepare and operate equipment and position patients correctly to record diagnostic images.
• Treat patients with care and respect, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
• Basic Life Support certification is required, and Advanced Life Support certification may be necessary depending on the situation.
• Requires certification through one of the following: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
• May require license from the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), if applicable.
• Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the patient's condition does not permit routine positioning.

• Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance (RT(MR)) or Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (RMRIT) certification.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
