We are looking for a dedicated and dependable Construction Superintendent Assistant to become a part of our team. This entry-level role provides an outstanding opportunity for individuals with some background in construction or restoration to enhance their skills and gain invaluable practical experience. In this position, you will assist the Superintendent in overseeing the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring that everything proceeds efficiently and effectively.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the Superintendent with everyday project activities, including scheduling subcontractors, procuring materials, and liaising with suppliers.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings alongside the Superintendent to understand project scopes, client expectations, and site-specific requirements.
- Help maintain project records, including daily logs, work reports, and change orders.
- Assist the Superintendent in conducting site evaluations to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and local regulations.
- Communicate with clients and subcontractors under the guidance of the Superintendent, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Help compile punch list items and prepare for final inspections with clients.
- Engage in on-site tasks, including moving materials, setting up equipment, and assisting subcontractors as necessary.
- Participate in the execution of change orders and assist with any adjustments needed to keep projects on schedule.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in construction, restoration, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong eagerness to learn and grow within the construction sector.
- Basic knowledge of construction processes, tools, and materials.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to follow directions and collaborate with the Superintendent and other team members.
- Basic mathematical skills for assisting with measurements, estimates, and calculations.
- Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Physical capability to walk, stand, and carry materials throughout the day.

Work Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime as necessary.
