Electrical Equipment Tester

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Equipment Tester with experience in the electrical field, particularly in panel building and testing of electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing 600-volt battery backup enclosures to ensure functionality, durability, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of 600-volt battery backup enclosures for functionality and durability.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical equipment as needed.
- Maintain high attention to detail to ensure all equipment meets quality standards.
- Document test results and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate with team members to improve testing processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Excellent electrical testing skills.
- Strong panel building and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to interpret drawings and communicate accurate modifications and sketches to team members.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and knowledge of pneumatic control.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent understanding of safety, chemical use, and common shop practices.
