As the Director of Behavioral Health Services at Adventist Health, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the mental health services provided by our facility. Your expertise will ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of all departmental operations, while managing personnel, developing and maintaining budgets, and reviewing policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement mental health services strategies to meet the needs of our patients and community.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned personnel, utilizing professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations governing the department, while maintaining a culture of superior quality and patient safety.
- Assess unit business strategies and develop new and creative programs and services in response to documented market demands.
- Supervise the quality and effectiveness of patient care delivered by assigned employees, evaluating overall patient care and related activities to ensure consistency with organizational strategies and objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Seven years' related experience: Preferred
- Five years' leadership experience: Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) or Clinical Social Worker (CSW) licensure in the state of practice: Preferred
