Job Summary

The Commercial Roofer Supervisor will oversee and participate in the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems. This role requires a strong understanding of various roofing materials and techniques, as well as the ability to lead a team of roofers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of roofing crews on commercial projects.
  • Install, repair, and maintain various types of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, and modified bitumen.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of roofing systems to identify and address issues.
  • Train and mentor junior roofers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during roofing projects.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Journeyman's License if applicable.
